Have you not seen some of the fees that L1 players have gone for recently?!
Absolutely no reason not to think a few of these players will still command relatively high fees - admittedly nowhere near as high as some of the fees touted around whilst in the Prem, but the likes of Mengi/Kam/Doughty are still valuable assets and will command a lot of money; even though I'd drive Mengi wherever he wants to go myself to get that waste of squad place out of the club.
We shouldn't be looking to let Aasgaard go for a lot of £££ either - he's not the finished article but just that 10dozen or so game cameo at the end of the season was enough to showcase what a talent he is, even at Championship level. He's one of a very few players we need to do all we can to keep, along with McGuinness, to try an rebuild the spine of a team at least.
