    I think we are definitely better. However, the improvements in our youth system have coincided with a rapid rise through the divisions.

    Ironically the drop back into League One might be of benefit if we want to see some of our youth break through and get more games.

    Luker had a decent season at Grimsby. I think the fans thought he had 'potential'. He moves really well with the ball. Not sure he's a nailed on first team starter even for a League Two side yet though. He's just turned 20.

    I think Nelson and Johnson will definitely have decent careers. I particularly like the look of Nelson. However I don't know if we have the next James Justin on our hands yet.

    James was the same age as Luker and Nelson and a year older than Johnson when he had that outstanding season for us in League One.

    If it wasn't for the injury he sustained on his England debut I think he would have had more England caps and certainly a more successful career with Leicester or another team in the Premier League. He oozed class, although he cold be found out at the back post on crosses.

    He really was a once in a decade discovery and we suffered massively when we lost both him and Stacey on our promotion to the Championship. Would love to find a player like him again next season.

    Ben Benagr is exciting.
