But City would need to be both removed from the top division, with one less relegation if what you say is correct, PLUS they would need to be inserted into another division somewhere else below. So my question still remains unanswered. What happens to the teams in the division that City get inserted into? An additional relegation from that division? One less promotion from the division below?

outlaws is not the barometer of sanity.
