    I'm not saying they're not trying. I'm saying they're overpaid for what they are capable of. And it's been allowed to become endemic throughout the whole game.

    If players were capped at the national average wage it would be far more relatable again.

    If clubs were allowed 2 or maybe 3 star players who were allowed to be paid twice the national average, but not more than 2 or 3 players in their whole squad, that would prevent clubs from buying titles and cups. The top players would be spread out amongst all clubs. It would disincentivise rich twat owners from getting involved and ruining everything. The more I think about it the more it makes sense. There wouldn't be any need for agents either.
