I agree, 100%! I hope the board backs him, too.

More importantly, I hope Rob can back himself.

If you want to be a top manager in the Premier League some day, which I believe he wants to be, then you are going to face periods of adversity. This is one of those such periods. That being said, we still dominated our local rivals who are in the playoffs, drew with West Brom who are also in the playoffs, and beat Cardiff who were second in the form table last week.

As with anything blame-wise, it has to be distributed evenly. The players need to take a hard, long look at themselves, as I genuinely feel several of them have -- or are -- letting the team down massively. Three times this season we've had players, such as Thomas Kaminski, Liam Walsh, and Tom Holmes get sent off, costing us points.

In fact, it blows my mind that a player, such as Liam Walsh, who was nearing the end of his career in the summer, has been given a golden chance to get back on track, and this is how he repays the club! His defending, along with Teden Mengi and Mark McGuinness on Saturday, was woeful!

Mengi has clearly had his head turned and needs moving on with his whole filming the crowd routine (even when we've been hammered) for his YouTube channel nonsense, as McGuinness looks considerably worse when he plays with him!

Rob needs to go back to basics. What does that mean? It means playing players who care! Carlton Morris should always be starting. Jacob Brown is starting to win me over with his work rate and enthusiasm, as is Tom Holmes (bar his stupid sending off!). I also think Pelly could still play a big part in this team, and shouldn't be sidelined. That is on Rob, as is his tactical stubbornness.

However, if we can get the core of our team back for Hull at home, and start Kaminski, Doughty, Bell, McGuinness, Holmes (or Burke), Hashioka, Clark, Krauß, Brown, Adebayo and Morris, and stick to a settled team wherever possible, I think we can turn this around.

The optimist in me thinks that we could even get to the playoffs by season's end if we find our momentum after Christmas, as we usually do.

P.S. As someone posted below, this is a weak Championship. Furthermore, we're not in a relegation dogfight. That is nonsensical, especially when you're only four points off of the mid-table.
