I totally agree that he wants to leave.

And also that he's not delivering.

Which is why it seems utterly mad to either try to convince him to stay or persevere with him, hoping he will turn it around.

It is starting to feel like a long drawn out negotiation between Edwards and the board is going to be taking place.

However, I don't think it great comms for a club to own up to a poor window in the club programme. That's hardly going to give much confidence to the squad, particularly the new players.
