Edwards was a great fit to ride Jones' squad all the way up, providing some freedom, spirit and camaraderie to activate a highly trained and organised Jones side.
It's all fizzled away, however, and we seem to lack bite, fight and passion.
Do we need a proper skull-crusher to come in and get the cogs turning again? Might lose a few players in doing so, but it'll separate the wheat from the chaff.
No idea what the squad's like in training, but there's lots of talk about 'the lads' and the good vibes around the club. Maybe it's all a bit too pallish?
