Building confidence

No doubting that the 3 points were more important than the performance. It gives the team and Rob a little breathing space ahead of a tough set of fixtures.
A solid defence is the key to any good team and it now looks like we may be on the way to having that with options and competition for places. Been a very long time since we could say that. Yesterday Cardiff never looked like scoring.
Now we need to build on that and get our attacking play up to speed. We are too reliant on goals from set piece plays, which makes us too one dimensional.
Middlesbrough away is a tough one especially with it being an early kick off. Hopefully Rob will have learnt from the Coventry game.
Anyway crazy league. If we could now put a run together we'll shoot up the League.
