In the old days it was washing money in some way, crooks and spivs.
It may not be open 'stealing' of money now, but aren't they 'stealing' the game to line their own pockets?
Now I think you'll find the 'money people get out' either in money or asset value is actually the true heart of most of the PL and wannabes.
I'm sure there are isolated examples where this doesn't happen, but anyone that comes in pretending and/or promising riches and success are people that I personally would be hugely suspicious of.
Let alone the fact that I've seen so many fans welcome people into their respective clubs as saviours, only for disaster within a short space of time.
