To turn off i have to unplug from ac.
I have taken back off and removed battery. When i plug laptop in now it still turns on without me pressing power button but is now doing a diagnostic start up. It gets passed the dell icon to a screen with lines of different horizonal colours and an hour glass in the middle.
Its been like that for 40 mins.
