I realise it’s very unlikely, but I’d like to see Edwards leave this weekend or early next week, even if it’s by mutual consent. He looks shattered, stressed and he’s out of ideas (at least good ones). The game against that lot in a fortnight will be an absolute nightmare for him if things don’t go well.

I know the compensation is a lot, and it’s not my money, but financial mistakes happen in football. Ryan Giles, probably Mads Andersen and Cardiff look like they’ve done really well in the McGuinness deal! We must’ve received compensation for NJ that would at least match what’s needed to pay Edwards off!

I chose not to go today. First one I’ve missed in a long time. I can’t justify spending so much money when such dross is being served up. I’ve genuinely played for managers in the Southern League with more of an idea tactically than Edwards.
