I am not comparing it to any of those countries, I think that greed is causing similar problems in other western countries especially the US.

Many european countries seem to be doing far better than us in the fairness stakes.

No one is saying that there are not problems with the NHS, actually the contrary, I agree with all your points and as I said it needs big decisions and proper funding.
My original post pointed out that money is being stolen from the NHS by procurement and agencies, the profits made are obscene.

The fact that it is still free and the people who work there care and do a brilliant job despite being fucked by politicians is makes it wonderful.

My Mum had great care before she passed a year ago and I have 3 siblings who are also getting fantastic treatment, it is all relative to experiences, we would be worse off without it, wouldn't we.
