Seriously? It’s one of the most ridiculous posts on here for a while, and that’s saying a lot.

The NHS isn’t wonderful. It’s a grand idea which costs an absolute fortune, is (and always has been) subject to blackmail by the BMA, isn’t working well in many areas, and is desperately in need of reform.

Whilst the reforms they attempted may have caused more problems than they solved, to say that the Tories don’t give a fuck is just a dumb, clearly ridiculous statement.

It isn’t saddled with debt, it is funded every year by the government, and any debt in there is effectively that of the government, ie us. What it IS saddled with is a massive liability for hugely expensive and unfunded final salary pension schemes.

As for the question of overnight parking charges for lorries, they may be unreasonable, but to extrapolate that to the country being “fucked by greed” is quite a leap.
