Following on from the earlier thread.

Mrs Punch received a letter dated 16th July from the Norfolk and Norwich hospital advising her of a specialist appointment this morning. We turned up at the due time only to be told she wasn't "on the list". After the receptionist investigated it turned out that the specialist had cancelled the appointment and passed her on to another doctor, who will "contact her in due course". It would have been so nice if he'd told us - we've just had a wasted morning involving a 50 mile round trip and paid £3.40 car parking charges.

I keep hearing NHS people complaining on the news that the NHS is broken because of years of under funding. There always seems to be no shortage of admin staff, so why can't they just do their job properly? This is not the first cock up we've experienced.
