Of course Germany are considering it. In principle it's a smart idea.

If the UK had standards, it'd realise that living here should be a privilege, earnt through work, rather than a right, just through turning up. The nation doesn't believe this any more.

Having secure borders is a major part of the social contract. Illegally crossing them should be grossly illegal and severely punished. People should be sent back home immediately. If it's unsafe, Rwanda is a good second choice.

Instead, however, the UK has decided that borders don't really matter, and naively believes that any place with a GDP/capita less than the UK is dangerous.

Always thought it's odd that black African countries are considered 'dangerous hellholes' by default by those who claim to be 'anti racist'. It's also odd that they deny Rwanda any agency in the matter.

The whole scheme was a microcosm of the rot and lack of foresight which has plagued the UK. Germany will benefit from the UK's hard work, and the UK will suffer for it.

Every recent government is practically a traitor who has valued their business chums over the people they claim to govern. Absolute traitors.
