I think it’s always been a collaborative effort with the manager , MH and the recruitment nerds and GS, assuming GS has the final sign off.

We know/believe under NJ players like Bell, KDH, Jordan C, Alfie Doughty were ones he’d tracked, and Barkley was apparently RE’s work.

I had heard NJ was the one who pushed for Carlton Morris over Clarke-Harris 2 years ago but no idea if that is genuine.

As for Gary this summer he might be on the communication for beginners residential summer school course.
