All true, others can let it go better than me but when you get to my age and add on 20 years it scares the hell out of me.

20 years ago we were serenading Martin Allen off the pitch.

In 20 years time I will be probably be gone.

Hence why others can be so patient about things when time marches on confuses me, you get one life and you have to live it and I felt last season we didn’t do justice to what was probably a once in a two generations opportunity.

And realistically getting back at the first attempt is an opportunity we will never have again, hence my incredulity on why we haven’t been more active and making this squad rock solid.

I will never be ungrateful for what 2020 have done, none of can ever be but if we don’t do more in the next week or so I am surely not the only one who will wonder if we have missed a golden chance to take advantage of a great team by making this a far stronger squad.
