We have a very strong squad, on paper and when all are fit.

But six senior players haven’t been seen for months and the Lockyer situation is still unresolved.

With 4-5 key additions now we will have a squad that can finish top six, and allow the injured group to recover with time and be integrated back into the fold.

If we don’t strengthen we will be missing a fantastic opportunity that may not happen again, certainly not until PC is ready and we are consistently drawing larger crowds.

It’s down to GS now, Edwards has said money is available.

The challenge is that other clubs/agents know we are cash rich and will ensure that they get more than we historically pay.

What gives?
