    Right decision. Right man for the job at the time. Difficult to imagine England would have reached the 2018 semis under anyone else at the time.

    Right man to take us forward to 21 and 22 but in hindsight it's a pity he didn't go after Qatar.

    He's taken us to another final so he can go out with honour. But it seems like it's been achieved in spite of his evident technical shortcomings. To be brutally honest this tournament has been a bit of a mess partly obscured by some late dramatics.
