I browse on here but don't usually post. In Sydney I had a PSA test at age 55 because my GP thought I should have one even though I didn't ask for one. It came back a bit high so I was sent for a biopsy and prostate cancer was detected. It was early stage and treatable. I am now 72 and still enjoying life and enjoying seeing the Hatters in the Prem. In the meantime treatments have become much easier. I am posting this because strongly believe all men over 50 should get this test and it is not the end of the world if you test positive if it is picked up early enough. Insist on getting tested.
