    Luton finished 21 points behind Burnley last season.
    Luton finished 11 points behind Sheffield U last season.
    So far this season, all three are pretty equal.

    At the time of going up, apart from joking about pissing a top six place, almost everyone talked of coming back down with the club's future secure.

    Now it seems, a large section of posters think Luton are entitled to roll over small clubs in cup games, or the manager has to go.

    It happens. Lower league teams win Cup matches. Luton have done it in the past and will again.

    Maybe the "story" has gone to people's heads. Maybe a section of support have known nothing but success, climbing through the divisions.

    But this is the time to get real. GS and gang have done a remarkable job. If they manage to keep the team up this year, it will be even more remarkable. If it is not to be, then Luton Town will be a competitive team in the most entertaining league next season AND have healthy looking balance sheets.

    Right, early morning grumble over. I need to empty the bladder.
