Trouble At The Top

Just rewatched the Trouble At The Top documentary for the first time in probably over a decade. I was only a kid at the time so I don't really remember too much at the time, did anything come out about who the "consortium" was or anyone remember anything about John Gurney trying to get back at the club?

It's infuriating to think that someone could take over a football club with so much mystery surrounding it, and the fact the the FA/FL were so easily assured by one meeting with Gurney. Something that fans of plenty of clubs since have had to deal with.

Mad to think that it was only 20 years and to see the rise we've been on, with huge bumps in that road, makes me incredibly proud to be a Hatter, and also feel lucky that we had such a dedicated fan base back then that saw through the bullshit and managed to rid the club of bloodsuckers.
