Hang on, Newcastle, PIF (state-owned)?

If wiki is correct that it is state-owned, I thought the Prem was given assurances that PIF had nothing to do with the Saudi state and if evidence emerged that it did (which it has during the whole LIV golf debacle) then they would have to sell or Newcastle's membership of the Prem would be cancelled?

Surely the Prem wouldn't go back on their word would they?
