Pepple took a lot of stick during his loan spell here, something I didn’t feel was particularly fair given he’d not long hopped off a plain from Canada before finding himself thrust straight into men’s football in the English football league.

Based on what I saw, he did look some way off the pace in Legaue Two, but with a bit of time, who knows? I don’t see him challenging Erling Haaland for the golden boot next season, however.
