    Living as I do in the West Midlands I’ve enjoyed reading the local press this morning. It’s surprisingly salty given their fans (that I met) seemed so balanced and reasonable.

    Apparently they bossed extra time, and my favourite in the player reviews is this:

    VIKTOR GYOKERES: 8

    Struggled to make an impact in the first half an hour due to Luton’s dominance and found it tough going against a big and physical back line, including towering Town substitute Reece Burke and persistent shirt tugger Gabriel Osho.

    1. Surely they noticed that there was VAR (given it saved their bacon at least once) so if this had been an issue we’d have been pulled up for it
    2. Imagine how they’d have reacted if locks had played more than 6 minutes - now there’s a serial shirt tugger.
    3. There’s a football in my garden. Anyone know where it came from? (seriously, I assume someone’s got a football!)

    Definition of bitter is reference to: shirt tuggers, long ball, shit fans / no fans, shit ground and budgets.
