    Another American take-over.

    Unlike any of their sports, I assume the new owners know Huddersfield can be relegated and don't get the best draft picks in the summer window by finishing near the bottom of the Championship.

    I probably wouldn't be so sceptical about the number of foreign investors if 2020 said their only means of competing was to bring in American or Far Eastern money. Ipswich, for example, have been able to attract better players because they, too, have new funds from American ownership and a larger playing budget ... and I don't suppose their fans give a care where the funds come from.
