    If you know Gary Caswell (his dad ran Star Juniors and Stan was the 'coach' until he walked out), Gerry Meade, Pete Harrington, John Bascombe etc. then you may well know me.
    I played for them for a couple of seasons in the 12-14 league, then I joined the 'superstar' team Dynamos for 1 season (Gary Hills and Dennis Bevis were at the same school as me). Didn't enjoy that experience, so stopped playing for a season. Bumped into Gary in the town centre one day and he asked me who I was playing for now. I said no-one, and his dad phoned me that evening asking if I'd like to go back - which I did.
    Continued to play for them in 16-18 league then on to the North Home Counties League as Star FC. We also played South Midlands League on Saturdays as Lockhart Bennet...
