- Re: Nathan Jones position being reviewed
It was always going to end in tears. Soton are a car crash of a club and what possessed their owners to appoint NJ defies comprehension. I’ve always been a big fan of NJ but his judgement in leaving us for Soton was misguided to say the least, particularly after the Stoke debacle. The level of delusion and hubris on his part has been truly breathtaking. I doubt that he’ll turn things around, it looks as if he won’t get the chance anyway. And the way he has conducted himself has been truly appalling. There’s been no dignity and he lacks class. I was sorry to see him leave but we’ve moved on and in RE have a manager who has hit the ground running and is the perfect fit. We seemed to have stepped up a gear since NJ’s departure, much like we did when he left for Stoke.
