    They are expecting him to be able to play before the end of the season so had to sign him by yesterday to be able to include him in their squad list. They obviously think that they will get sufficient playing time out of him to justify that risk. I doubt that they will be paying much, if any, of his wages, particularly until he is available to play for them.
