Our midfield with the addition of Nkamba looks spot on, hopefully having a strong defensive midfielder can help us defend the lead better at home and also release Clarke to play further up field where I think he is so much more effective.. So definitely a huge positive.
Up front: at this moment in time we have basically swapped Cornick and Jerome for Muskwe, really struggling to see how that can be a positive.
Right Back: Drameh a bright start and I suspect what with his pace and energy going forward he will be a better prospect than Bree in respect to getting forward he wasn't really put under to much pressure last night so cant really comment on the defensive aspect. We will miss Bree's versability and set pieces, overall Drameh is still bit of a unknown quality, Bree has been consistent over two seasons. Jury is out in this regard.
GK until Shea is fit we now have 2 first team keepers instead of 3. So atm in time a negative but can improve depending on how Shea recovers.
Overall
Disappointing we didn't strengthen at Center-Back or bring in some Right-Back cover but that is how it goes sometimes.
If Drameh performs as hoped then I think the "first 11" is pretty much as we were if not a little stronger in midfield, but as a overall squad I think we are weaker, we have less quality in depth, if we can avoid injuries to key players then this wont be such a problem but I can see us being just two big injuries away from really struggling.
