Time will tell but really encouraged by what I saw of Drameh last night. Could even be a net gain for this season however a longer term replacement might be more difficult to find come the summer.
[-] Cornick+Jerome out, Taylor+Muskwe in:
Cornick is a loss as we haven't replaced his pace/reliability off the bench. I don't expect Taylor to feature more than a couple cameos which leaves Muskwe as our Cornick/Jerome replacement. Hopefully he's developed a bit on his loan but I don't think we can spin this into a positive.
[+] Sublime Nkamba in: we've lacked a defensive midfield option and Nkamba looks like the perfect signing. Won Aston Villa's player of the month award in the premier league and they paid £12m for him. He's 29 so should be ready to chuck in straight away. There's also a great clip of him wiping out a Man city player somewhere online.
[?] Remaining deals: Not sure what the reasoning with the back up keeper from Barnsley and losing Isted was, likewise with our development player moving to Serie A.
Overall I think we're in a stronger position to compete for the rest of the season. We had a lot of attacking options so losing 2 of these for an upgrade in the CDM role isn't too bad. Drameh looks the real deal too. I'm a bit concerned for next summer and finding long term replacements but trust the recruitment. COYH!
