    I would imagine Jerome has been saying for a while that he would like to move closer to home and the club were away.

    I would also imagine when the move to Bolton became a possibility the Bolton manager wanted to speak to the manager who has last managed him for any length of time, which is Jones. Perhaps he knows Jones as well.

    As Pingu said, people talk. Hardly a surprise imo. Think you're reading too much into it
