Why the dislike for Everton?

Probably the less offensive of the scouse duo( with apologies to tranmere). For me they are basically a scouse villa - used to be decent but done #### all for years. Still think they are a big club when in reality now they are probably a southampton or palace level club.And at least southampton, villa and palace have had the good grace to get relegated in recentish seasons.

Do`nt know if it stems from the early 90`s when they were the live tv darlings (when it was one game a week) - 3 in 4 weeks for no reason. Personally i`d find it amusing if they went down. Just for an established doing #### all side to go down instead of the usual "3 promoted sides from last 2 years" combo. Not only that but if they went down I`d like to see them do a sunderland- arrive expecting to piss the league and end up inl1 for a few seasons. No rational thought, they just deserve it for being the perennial nothing club on the basis they were a big 5 club.
