Desperate, desperate stuff Zed - defend the Tories at any cost eh

Let’s have a look at Truss shall we? A woman who signed a trade deal that even a fellow minister has described as bad, a woman desperate for a managed photo opportunity - preferably with a landmark as a backdrop, a woman who will change her mind on the most critical of issues if it help further her career, a woman who sent the financial markets into turmoil and for which we’ll quite possibly be paying for years to come. A woman who should never have even been elected an MP let alone a Minister or PM. But, such is the depth of talent in the currentTory Party. Intelligent she might be (on paper) but there is a difference between being intelligent and clever - ‘educated idiots’ as my old Dad used to call them. Fortunately though there is little likelihood of her doing any more damage to the UK, her career is surely over.

Let it be said also though - she’s a woman who was so desperate to please her masters she’d even sleep with them in order to ‘get on’. Imagine if a leading female Opposition MP had done that? Can you imagine the headlines in the Daily Mail?
