Lockdowns . . . I think the thing that people keep missing about lockdowns was that without them the NHS would have been overrun. Take a look at what's happening right now, people dying and suffering waiting for ambulances to arrive. People dying and suffering while in ambulances waiting for attention. All that while we haven't got the same level of problem with COVID too.
If anyone doesn't understand how keeping people apart helps prevent the spread of infectious disease I certainly can't help them.

On the richest people that's a very separate issue. But people will keep voting in politicians who clearly aren't doing the right things to fix it because they get made some populist promises, most of which never actually come good anyway.
