If you visit as a tourist under normal circumstances yes I`d agree. But if you invite the world cup to your shores, you are inviting 31 other football nations and their fans. Therefore you need to make clear in your bid what won`t be welcome. Not throw it in at the last minute. FIFA also guilty - armbandgate a prime example. Months of notice and they move the goalposts at the last hour pretty much. Its like FIFA and qatar are having a competition to see who can be the biggest last minute ####.

As much at the football itself was enjoyable today, its akin to the escape for victory propaganda (yes i know its a film)
