Quite bizarre that you can’t take another club’s 3rd choice right back outside of a transfer window, but their entire coaching team is fair game.

Essentially, it places clubs operating with a smaller budget at even more of a disadvantage. They take a punt on a lesser known entity, it works well, then a club with a bigger wallet, who didn’t appoint the right person, can swoop in and potentially bugger up their campaign.

Football is a business, of course it is. But a rule that says you name your manager for the season, and must then stick with them for the duration, stops those with deep pockets disrupting everybody else’s situation every time they decide they’re not where they think they should be.

Take W*tford as a prime example. When they invariably bin their manager every ten minutes, unless they take a free agent, they’re disrupting somebody else on account of their shambolic decisions.

Shouldn’t be allowed.
