    I feel fine today - I can honestly say that today I wouldn't know that I had run yesterday - touch wood that it stays that way.

    It was a nightmare day all round - got to Bedford station before 6 am but didn't reach Blackheath until 10.35. I got cramp after nine miles (I think that this could have been connected to the rushing to get to the start line without the chance to prepare properly). After 17 miles, my back started playing up (I had probably been over compensating for the cramp) and I had to walk the last nine miles. It was very tough going but I got round eventually.

    My entry for April went in on Saturday.

    Well done to Robson O'Reardon, Raj Koyes and any other Hatters who completed it.
