Whereas playing Potts and Bradley as LCB and central CB effectively meant no progression at all down the left, as Potts is too cautious and Bradley has no ability to control the ball quickly. So Osho, as RCB, was our only viable option for playing out from the back, and he was quickly closed down once Brum worked that out. This meant that we took far too long to get the ball to anywhere dangerous.
Burke will be more effective than Osho, but we badly need a better option than Potts at LCB. Maybe that’s Bell, with Doughty or Fred at LWB.
