- Re: What COULD Jones have done differently yesterday?
What else could we have done differently yesterday. Aside from actually putting in some serious graft and showing desire, pressing the opposition more. Watching the goals back we just sit off whilst attacks are started from Brentford's back line clipping balls forward. Getting more tackles in and closing players down. We just stood off, it was unreal. Actually play Collo as centre forward not on the wing. He took Cornick off who was one of the few players that looked like sparking something off. Bewildeting sub! Jones constantly hammers the players in public without singling individuals out (until yesterday with Potts), in turn they play for him when they want. You can coach players as much as you want but if they don't have the desire to play for you it simply won't last.
