Had forgotten that the Ford Lane Estate was there by 1967. Not sure what was the official title of the estate?
It was all a bit of a shock over the years how much development went on when we grew up in a house surrounded by uncultivated fields. A kid's paradise.

my aunt and uncle moved from sefton road to a flat in farmview,about 1958,i know they were there when i had my birth day ,when i was 21, my dad did try for a council house on sefton rd,he would have been able to keep his motor bike and sidecar,

ps not happy when he heard the empty house was being kept for a man who had got a job with the council not a litherland man
