Ronnie just passed Carters farm house there was a gate and a box shaped like a coffin we thought the owner had murdered his family and the bodies were in that box,when i new girl started at are school,couldnt belive her family lived in that house,Must have been brave or never heard the story,

as kids we always said the house in alexander mounts haunted or had a ghost,we wwould dare each other to go up the stairs,once a big boy we didnt know said he would take us,thank goodness it was all very innocent,

There was an horrific event connected with Ford House in 1918 with William Knowle's nephew, who inherited the house, farm and land, Kate.

I will post the tragic event.

That house at the bottom of Grantsy was terryfying and I'm sure was haunted.
I think you told me the history of it which wasn't scary, and they weren't gargoyles around the path, but,but,but....
that was so many years ago, and the house has now gone back to scary territory memory

How are things going for you? Still cruising?

I'm sorry I never took a cruise around the British Isles. I love history, especially English, so places of historic interest have always attracted me.

when bombs were dropping Mum took me into rigbys at 77 sefton road she thought it was a sprite that walked through the bedroom mrs Rigby said it must have been her son sleep walking,all the time we lived there never new behind the large wardrobe was a door to 77 sefton roadPS we lived at 75 seftom road,

was he called lord har har,who would come on the radio and say how well Germany where doing during the war,never foumd out who dropped the little packet of white powder,
