talking to a neighbour she said i could be made to go into a care home,unless my son called in everyday,think she had forgotten I own my own house it not council house,working as a home carer for 20 year plus,never heard of any one being forced to give up there home and go into a care home,I told her i could pay for help in the house if needed,

Crazy woman! Mind you, if someone forced me into a care home, they would have to pay for it! That would be handy, but, that's why it never happens!!

My nieghbour had a fall in her housein hospital the social workers took over,her house had to be sold the family got part of the money the rest whent for her care home, it was the far side of cardiff,the family managed to get her moved into a local one,

Social services can't force someone of sound mind into a care home.

She was quite confused Jean,i use to help her with shopping and her pension, she would try and pay for a loaf with a 20 pound note,when she had change in her purse,the family gave me the code to put in the machine,life is hard

I aske the lady in the post office was it easyer when we had a pension book,she said yes far better,who is the fool who thinks up the new ways,som home carers have to collect pension for many people,all with a code,
