Easter week end

loved easter when working a long weekend off work,good friday then the Monday and the Tuesday,
easter meant anew summer dress and a pair of sandals,that was way back in 1950 plus,now children are lucky new clothes all year around,

I was pocked in the back by an elderly women,to tell me my hat made of feather was non suitable for church,

I use to get White Buck sandals at Easter time. And white net gloves to wear
