69 Years In A Public House!

My dad would go to the pub on a friday night meet 2 friend who where policemen 1963 hope you were not there as a under age drinker ronnie my dad was quite straight,said it was the pub owner who got into trouble if they served anyone under 18 years of age,Myself or my brother have never been in a public house in litherland

I was an underage drinker at all of the Litherland pubs and the Bootle and Seaforth pubs.

Had my first drink in Tom's at age 14.

My first pub drink was The Red Lion aged 15 and 3/4

Me Dad went to The Salt Box every Thurs, Fri and Sat.........9.25 till last orders at 10

went with friends to a pub in liverpoolwhen asked what i wanted to drink I said Large and lime please told you can have a pale ale and lime its cheaper,a pony tasted nice or babysham

Ronnie when working in the naffi i had to be shown how to pull a pint,had to be carefull once the duty officer,got wet,the beer hit the bottom of the glass, thankgoodnessit was at a TA camp,and one of the men worked in a pub ,he came around and fixed the pump,wasnt my faultthe beer come out so fast

I saw man land on the Moon from the back lounge of Tom Jones. Well, I think that's what it was,when I sobered up the next day.

When my so was about 3 year of age he would tell everyone about going to the moon,then the local butcher told him he had a space ship in his back yard,steven wanted to go with him,he had a little toy a man in a space suit,had to go back and look for it when he must have dropped it when we where shopping,
