The cottages in the photo are the same as the ones build in Cardiff,many years ago for the Jubilee/when build they only had a half bath,forgot the name for that,but modernized about 30 year ago,full size bath or a walk in shower,

As children we would walk up to Sefton Church on a Sunday, One time we thought we would walk alone the canal, after walking for a time asked a man how far it was to Litherland lift bridge,He said you are going the wrong way, toward Leeds, We turned back,got home in time for tea, Sunday dinner ruined

My Mum once took a tramp in gave him his dinner and Money so he could go to the covent and pay to have bath,

Had to be really carefull when workng as a home carer one old man showed my a plate on the plate was a picture of little boy having a pee,better be thought of as a prude,
