Daniel, Sarah & Amy Green - Litherland Born

The cottage faced on to Church Road, its address though was School Lane.

Amy was an elementary school teacher, an older daughter was a teaching assistant.

Daniel did well from being an agricultural labourer living in Sefton Street to moving to the cottage and becoming a dairyman, purveying milk.

Is that where English martyrs school was built,or made larger,my Mum born 1912 and her older brothers and sister all went to EM school,Mum remembered a man in uniform waiting at home time for one of the teachers,

This is the side entrance in School Lane to Dan Green's place, the cottage is facing on to Church Road.

I only remember Oxford and Cambridge road that ran of school lane,behind the pub was Moss lane
