I don't go sea fishing, Norma - There is an angling club here.
I did try fishing once with two anglers, and a borrowed rod, I was bored to tears - Never did it again
Salmon fishing is popular on the two big estate's rivers, also brown trout fishing in the stocked lochs.
A brickie I worked with, would sometimes take the day off and go salmon fishing, he earned more selling the salmon to hotels than brickying for the day.
Brown trout are very tasty, I regularly was given brown trout from a guy I worked with.
There is an annual sea fishing competition for 'Sea Tope' a species of shark, the biggest caught in the UK was 86 lb 13 oz from Stackpole Quay in Pembrokeshire.
