I can travel on any public bus in Scotland with the pass I have.
I also have a ferry card I use, I only pay £2 return as a passenger, pay full wack for the car though.

I received a keyring off my bank, on the keyring was a pound shaped disc to use in supermarket trolleys.
I took the disc off the keyring and kept it in my pocket.
I was out one day for lunch and mistakenly put the disc in the tip jar I didn't notice until I got home when I took the coins out of my pocket.
I now have another disc off my housing association, I keep that one in the car

There was a man who stood around the supermarket car park, when I had a taxi waiting told him he could have the pound coin if he took it back,Bet he made quite a good living,When I was working met a man begging for money to buy a cup of tea, kept a coin in my pocket to hand to him,

Here in Liverpool residents of Merseyside still get a free bus pass at 60 for use in this area but can't use it until they reach 66 or 67 when standard retirement kicks in. Then they can the use it for all England. We can also use the Merseyside trains and the ferry from 60. But if you get the train going to an area outside Merseyside you have to pay the price from the last Merseyside station to your destination. Can't Use it in Wales or Scotland.
