We didn't get commercial TV until 1958, stuck with the BBC with the long interludes and the Potter's Wheel.

Bizarrely Ronnie, I picked up a Metro in Glasgow Queen Street Station today and found this!!!!!
(I'm going to see Cat Stevens!!) It was an 'on this day' feature!

Are telly went off at 10 o clock bed time,my brother and i would sneak down stairs and watch late night shows,once we started to watch birth of a baby,ended up hiding my face behind a cushion,When living on sefton rd before we had eclectic council were putting it in,long lead across Rigby house in and uncle Jims,Uncle Jim had paid privately to have it installed

We did watch I love Lucy,lucky to find a seat family of 4 plus one uncle who all but lived with us,slept in his own house,Aunty Nell and uncle Jim,they lived next door put one on sefton road,never got used to Living in ford,Satadays were lovely,all sitting around having a big table having tea,Now i am Homesick for the past,
